The Cachi close encounter case is one of Argentina’s strangest modern contact-style UFO stories. Usually tied to Werner Jaisli’s claimed November 2008 encounter near Cachi in Salta, the case became famous because he said two luminous craft contacted him telepathically and instructed him to build a stone landing marker for extraterrestrials, later known as the ovnipuerto of Cachi.
