Privacy and Advertising Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026
Your advertising choice
Project Black Echo asks before loading third-party advertising. If you choose “Allow advertising,” that choice is stored in your browser and Adsterra banner code may load on article pages. If you choose “Continue without ads,” the Adsterra code is not loaded.
You can reopen the choice at any time through “Privacy choices” in the site footer. Clearing browser storage may also reset the saved choice.
Third-party advertising
When you allow advertising, Project Black Echo uses Adsterra to provide display banners. Ad delivery and measurement may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, approximate location, the page and referring page, ad impressions, ad interactions, cookies, or local storage identifiers.
Adsterra and the advertisers reached through its banners operate under their own policies. Review Adsterra’s privacy policy and cookie information for more detail.
Website and contact data
The site’s hosting and security infrastructure may process standard request data, including IP addresses, timestamps, requested pages, browser information, and security events. If you email Project Black Echo, the message and address you provide are used to respond to the inquiry, correction, or source submission.
External links
Articles link to archives, institutions, sources, advertisers, and other external websites. Project Black Echo does not control the privacy or content practices of those websites.
