Energy-Being Civilizations
Energy-being civilizations are one of the most radical models in alien-civilization theory: societies built not from ordinary carbon-based organisms with stable tissues and organs, but from plasma-like structures, electromagnetic field patterns, or other highly nontraditional substrates. Drawing on plasma self-organization research, dusty-plasma studies, alternative-life speculation, and the long tradition of noncorporeal beings in science fiction, the model explores whether intelligence could ever persist in forms that seem closer to process than to body.
