Montauk Chair became powerful because it gave consciousness conspiracy culture a machine. Camp Hero already supplied the right landscape: a coastal military site, a radar station, a giant abandoned antenna, and enough sealed infrastructure to make any impossible claim feel half-buried rather than wholly invented. What the chair added was amplification. In that reading, psychic ability was never enough by itself. It had to be focused, powered, tuned, and broadcast. The chair became the instrument that turned thought into force, intention into manifestation, and a human mind into something the black world could supposedly use like a weapon, a receiver, or a doorway.
